Overview

Westfield United Soccer Club teams play in the Pioneer Valley Junior Soccer League (PVJSL). Our teams play other town travel teams such as: West Springfield, Southwick, Agawam, Chicopee, Northampton, Wilbraham, etc.

Practices are usually 1 or 2 times per week with 2 games per week. Half our games are home games, played at Stanley Park, North Middle School or the Woronoco Soccer Complex.

Our teams are age and grade appropriate starting with Under 08 (2nd graders) through U14 (8th graders).

Our Coaches

Our coaches are all former players, coaches or both. Most of our staff has upper level college playing experience. We are dedicated and passionate about teaching soccer skills and using the game to teach life lessons.

Our club requires coaching education, meaning all our coaches are or will be USYSA or NSCAA licensed coaches. You will not find a father "filling in" to coach in our club.

Tryouts

Only our upper age teams have tryouts. There are NO TRYOUTS for our U08, U09 and U10 teams. We will form as many teams as we can from the all who sign up.

Our goal through tryouts is to create multiple talent appropriate teams per age group.

Tryouts are usually the 2nd Monday & Tuesday in June. Tryout schedule coming soon.
