About Westfield United Soccer Club
Mission Statement
Westfield United Club's mission is to develop skilled respectable Westfield soccer players in a fun, safe, nurturing environment through competition against other local clubs.
We accomplish our mission through 5 key elements:
- Fun - we provide an environment where players can play with age and grade appropriate classmates, currently and in the future;
- Skills - We teach appropriate soccer and social skills, providing our players with the ability to succeed on the field and hopefully reinforce the foundations for success later in life;
- Respect - we teach respect as a sportsman both on and off the field, respect for one's body and mind and respect as a player for your teammates and competitors;
- Nurturing - we provide an environment where the game can teach life lessons, foster talents and develop skills, both soccer and inter-personal.
- Success - we cultivate a love for the game and the desire to keep the players wanting to come back.
